Job summary

Medical Associates Health Plans is seeking a full-time Member Services Representative to provide superior customer service, handle calls, and assist members and providers with benefits and claims. After initial in-office training, there is potential to work from home.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency with Word and Excel. The role supports claims processing, eligibility, and enrollment tasks in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent telephone presence and strong communication skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound and outbound telephone calls in a professional, courteous manner.
• Respond to member and provider inquiries regarding benefits, claims, and enrollment.
• Enter member data and supporting documentation into core business systems.
• Review, analyze, and process claims and coordination of benefits according to policies.
• Perform additional assigned projects and duties.
