We are looking for a Member Services Representative to join our team! This position will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a high level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
  2. Handle all front desk activities including:
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • Take prospective members on tours.
  • Sign up new members, calculating rates and monthly payments.
  • Assist the Club Manager with cash drawer management.
  • Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns professionally and promptly, escalating as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the club, including completing daily tasks, cleaning, and periodic checks.
  • Perform other duties as required by club needs.
  • Qualifications
    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • High School diploma or GED required.
    • Customer service experience preferred.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Positive attitude and passion for fitness and health.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
    • Diplomatic and professional behavior in interactions.
    Physical Demands
    • Standing and walking during shifts.
    • Talking in person and on the phone.
    • Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
    • Handling chemicals safely.
