We are looking for a Member Services Representative to join our team! This position will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
  2. Handle all front desk activities including:
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • Take prospective members on tours.
  • Sign up new members, calculating rates and monthly payments.
  • Assist the Club Manager in counting out the drawer as needed.

Facilitate updates to members' accounts, respond to questions and concerns professionally, and escalate issues as needed. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the club, including completing daily tasks, cleaning projects, and periodic checks.

Other duties may be assigned based on club needs.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and passion for fitness.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Empathetic listener and problem solver.
Physical Demands
  • Stand and walk continuously during shifts.
  • Talk in person or on the phone regularly.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Handle chemicals safely as needed.
