Job Overview

We are seeking a Member Services Representative to join our team! Your main responsibility will be providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding 'Judgement Free' experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet members and guests warmly to create a welcoming environment.
  • Answer phone inquiries professionally and assist callers with questions.
  • Check members in, conduct tours, sign up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates and events.
  • Respond promptly to member questions and concerns.
  • Handle beverage or merchandise purchases using the point of sale system.
Additional Duties
  • Assist with member account management, including issuing new cards, updating addresses, and handling billing questions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk area and lobby.
  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and restrooms.
Qualifications
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Passion for fitness and health.
  • Positive attitude and punctuality.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk continuously during shifts.
  • Speak clearly in person and over the phone.
  • Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Handle exposure to cleaning chemicals.
