This position is within the American Airlines Credit Union and requires commuting to the Philadelphia International Airport five days a week.
What you'll do
- Open new accounts, sell and process Credit Union services for members
- Post deposits and process loan payments
- Handle monetary transactions and maintain account information
- Perform Notary Services as needed
- Create positive brand recognition for the Credit Union
- Collaborate with branch managers and leverage cross-selling opportunities
- Research member inquiries and provide solutions promptly
- Support branch functions and duties to ensure smooth operations
- Implement internal controls and security measures per policies and regulations
- Promote teamwork, service excellence, and relationship building
- Conduct loan interviews, processing, and disbursement activities as assigned
- May work rotating Saturdays depending on the location
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ensure confidentiality and legal compliance of all account information, including adherence to laws like the Bank Secrecy Act
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work in-person at the designated branch
- Experience in cash handling, sales, customer service, or financial institutions within the last year
- Relevant skills and experience for the role, including consumer loan processing or underwriting, will be considered
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree in business, finance, or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience
- Experience in a service-oriented environment
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to pass FAA criminal background checks for airport security access, if applicable
- Excellent member service skills
- Ability to cross-sell products and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional interaction skills
- English language proficiency; Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Basic math and data analysis skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends
- Satisfactory performance and attendance
- Ability to pass all applicable compliance checks
