BayPort Credit Union is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented member services professional to greet members, provide information on memberships and financial products, and open new accounts. You will handle loan interviews and applications, explain terms, and ensure timely responses to member inquiries.
The role involves processing various transactions, resolving account issues, and following through on loan requests.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide quality service to the Credit Union members. This is accomplished by serving as a liaison between the member and the credit union; greeting and welcoming credit union members in a professional and timely manner; providing information to current as well as prospective members on membership eligibility, account types, loan products and any other services the Credit Union offers. Other duties include opening new accounts for members to include but not limited to loans, IRA's, and certificates; resolving problems with members' accounts, interviewing loan applicants, processing loan requests, responding to members' requests in a timely, professional manner and performing other duties as requested.

Required Knowledge: Knowledge of general credit union operational procedures to include cash handling, teller job-related duties, member services and loan processes and procedures.
Required Education: Education up to the equivalent of a four-year high school education.
Required Experience: Previous teller experience or member service experience is required.
