About The Role

We are seeking a Member Services Specialist to join our team! This position will provide exceptional customer service while assisting with account openings, transactions, loan applications, account maintenance, and questions regarding financial products and services. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a fast paced financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with account openings, closings, and maintenance
• Process online, mail in, and other customer transactions
• Input membership and loan applications
• Answer questions about products and services
• Resolve customer issues and escape complex concerns when needed
• Provide support by phone, email, online, mail, and in person
• Maintain accurate customer records and account information
• Process and scan documents
• Review reports and identify discrepancies or missing information
• Research and troubleshoot customer account questions
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer needs
• Follow up with customers to provide timely resolutions
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services
• Follow all applicable security, compliance, and company policies
• Provide backup support to branch operations and other departments as needed

Qualifications
