Job summary

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is hiring a friendly, full-time Member Services Representative (30 hours per week) for the Walmart Crossman Fitness Center in Sunnyvale, CA. You will support the Fitness team with front desk operations, greet members, check-in and provide program information to ensure a warm, customer-focused experience for every visitor.

Schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday–Thursday, with shifts from 10:45am to 7:15pm or 11:45am to 7:15pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of verifiable customer service or hospitality experience.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to stand up to 50% of a shift.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with member management systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check-in and assist members and guests with a welcoming, service-focused mindset.
• Provide program, services, and membership information accurately.
• Support marketing campaigns to engage Walmart/Sam's Club associates.
• Handle front desk duties, enroll memberships, and manage check-in/out processes.
• Navigate ClubAutomation and resolve account issues as they arise.
• Respond to member requests promptly and resolve concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of participant and facility policies and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Perform opening and closing duties and other duties as assigned.

About The Role

We’re hiring a friendly, full‑time Member Services Representative (30 hours per week) to be the welcoming face of our Walmart Crossman Fitness Center in Sunnyvale, CA! In this role, you’ll support the Fitness team with front desk operations while creating a positive, customer‑focused experience for every member who walks through the door.

Greet, check-in and assist customers. Provides program information, services, membership and ensures the highest possible level of customer service and participant satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities

• Greet, engage with, and be attentive to members and guests, practicing a positive, hospitality focused mindset.
• Be knowledgeable and able to provide accurate program, services, and membership information as well as answer questions regarding all offerings.
• Support marketing/promotional campaigns to drive awareness and interest among the Walmart/Sam's Club associate community.
• Assist with all front desk administrative duties, membership enrollment processes, check-in/check-out procedures, and tracking or record keeping.
• Demonstrate proficiency in navigating a member management system (ClubAutomation) including identifying and troubleshooting account errors.
• Efficiently respond to client and participant requests, comments, or concerns in a friendly and helpful manner and bring issues to timely and appropriate resolution.
• Maintain an up-to-date, specific knowledge on participant and facility policies as appropriate, including Emergency Action Responses. Be able to recognize and respond to Educate participants on policies and procedures.
• Maintain effective relationships with department teams and participate in internal programs and special events including regular staff meetings and trainings.
• Opening and/or closing duties.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of verifiable experience in a Customer Service or Hospitality role.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification through the Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to stand up to 50% of the time during a shift.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.

Compensation: $19.50-$25.00 per hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
