Job summary

HealthFitness, managing Harvard Recreation, seeks a friendly Front Desk Attendant to provide exceptional service and daily facility support. You will be the first contact for members and guests, handling check-ins and answering questions to foster a welcoming experience.

This part-time role offers mornings, evenings and weekends across 4–10 hours per week. A High School diploma and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications within 30 days are required to ensure safety and excellent service.

About The Role

Harvard Recreation, managed by HealthFitness, is seeking a friendly, reliable Front Desk Attendant to provide exceptional customer service and support daily facility operations. As the first point of contact for members and guests, you'll help create a welcoming and positive experience while assisting with check-ins, answering questions, and monitoring facility access.

Part-Time: 4–10 hours per week

Available Shifts

• Mornings: 5:45 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
• Evenings: 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
• Weekends: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Greet, check-in and assist customers. Provide program information, services, membership and ensure the highest possible level of customer service and participant satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience a plus.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.

The compensation for this role is $15/hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
