Job summary

Bridge Credit Union in Struthers, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Member Services Representative/Teller to handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account maintenance for members in person, by phone, or electronically. You will balance daily transactions and provide prompt, professional service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, cash handling experience, good math and communication skills, and can operate computer applications and common office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person, via phone, electronically, and through the mail, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances.
• Balance each day's transactions and verify cash totals.
• Perform account maintenance duties and assist members with inquiries and problems.
• Actively cross-sell Credit Union services.
• Serve members promptly and professionally; act as daily vault teller when needed.

Work Schedule

Monday - Thursday : 9 am - 5 pm

Friday: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Saturday : 9 am - 12 pm

Job Description:

Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person, via phone, electronically, and through the mail, including but not limited to processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances. Balances each day's transactions and verifies cash totals. Performs a broad variety of member services functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, and assisting members with account inquiries and problems. Answers members' questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance duties. Actively cross-sells Credit Union services. Performs specific assigned duties and assists other Member Services Representatives/Specialist with duties as required. Serves members promptly and professionally. Acts as a daily vault teller, when needed.
