Job description

We’re Excel Fitness, a Planet Fitness franchise group based out of Austin, TX with 80+ clubs and growing! Since 2016, we have expanded from 16 locations in TX to over 80 locations across 6 states, including markets like Austin, Dallas, Raleigh, Tulsa, and NW Arkansas. We are opening new clubs each year, providing great career growth opportunities. Many of our senior managers started at the front desk and advanced to roles earning base salaries starting at $42k as a GM, $60k as a Regional Manager (responsible for 5-10 locations), and over $100k as a Regional Director overseeing 10+ locations.

All roles begin at the front desk, where our Team Players (employees) are responsible for creating a positive member experience through excellent customer service and maintaining cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Check members into the system.
• Take prospective members on tours and assist with new account sign-up.
• Update member accounts as needed.
• Respond to member questions and concerns professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
• Perform detailed cleaning in all areas of the facility.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Availability for 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday shifts.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with members and co-workers.
• Positive mental attitude.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Diplomatic communication and appropriate behavior.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking during shifts.
• Talking in person or on the phone.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Encountering cleaning products.
• Following strict safety and cleaning protocols, including mask mandates and sanitation procedures.
