Job summary

Northwest YMCA in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Member Services Representative to be the first contact for members and guests. You will provide exceptional customer service, assist with inquiries, and support administrative tasks to ensure a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days of employment).
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a community-focused organization or membership-based facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information about YMCA programs, services, and membership options.
• Assist members with inquiries, registration, and resolving issues.
• Promote YMCA membership benefits and programs to prospective members.
• Conduct membership tours and orientation sessions.
• Assist with membership sales and renewals.
• Process membership applications, cancellations, and changes.
• Handle cash transactions, including membership fees and program payments.
• Maintain accurate records and member information in the database.
• Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Monitor access to the facility, ensuring that only authorized members and guests enter.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to staff.
• Collaborate with other YMCA staff to support member experience.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving member services.
• Assist with special events and community outreach as needed.
