  • Promote AGCVA’s advocacy, education, safety, workforce development, events, and other member resources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely membership, prospect, engagement, and outreach information in AGCVA’s association management system.
  • Monitor membership growth, retention, engagement, event performance, and other assigned goals.
  • Collaborate across AGCVA departments to connect members with relevant statewide programs, resources, and opportunities.
  • Support assigned student chapter development and help connect students with contractors, mentors, internships, career opportunities, and Young Leadership Council engagement.
  • Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory and attend occasional early-morning and evening meetings or events.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, including the ability to plan events, manage multiple priorities, and consistently follow through.
  • Experience working with volunteer leaders and supporting effective decision-making, coordination, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and professionally represent AGCVA throughout the assigned region.
  • Comfort using data, contact-management systems, or association-management software to track outreach, engagement, and business-development activity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn AGCVA’s technology systems.
  • Knowledge of the commercial construction industry or demonstrated ability to learn the industry quickly.
