Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a team member to process member purchases with courtesy and accuracy. You will verify, upgrade, and renew memberships, scan merchandise, and accept various forms of payment while maintaining a clean front-line area.

This role emphasizes high-quality customer service, speed, and a friendly attitude, with opportunities to promote BJ’s membership products and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills preferred.
• Prior cashier or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process Member purchases in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Scan merchandise and handle payments.
• Assist Members at self-checkout stations and maintain cleanliness of the frontline area.
• Provide excellent member service and resolve simple inquiries.
• Keep up to date on promotions and product information.
• Meet cashier productivity expectations.
