Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking team members to process member purchases with courtesy, verify, renew, upgrade memberships, scan merchandise, and accept payments. You will provide excellent service and help maintain a clean front-line area.

As part of a dynamic team, you will support club policies, meet cashier productivity, assist at self-checkout, and help with promotions and signage while upholding safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are preferred.
• Previous cashier or sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including renewals and upgrades.
• Offers all appropriate membership products such as membership renewal, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs and Rewards redemption.
• Provides a high level of customer service to Members and processes transactions efficiently.
• Scans all club merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate counts and totals.
• Maintains cleanliness of the frontline area and assists with general club housekeeping when necessary.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
