Overview

Position: Member Services Associate

Location/Dept.: Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, Philadelphia PA

Availability: Immediate

Schedule: Part-time (up to 19 hours weekly) and Full-time (up to 40 hours weekly). Must be willing and able to work weekends and evenings as required to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center.

Reporting Relationship: Welcome Center Supervisor

Salary Grade: $17.00 per hour; 74 Non-Exempt

Responsibilities

The Member Services Associate will deliver exceptional customer service to prospects, members, and guests, providing information about the facility and memberships, assisting with enrollment, and supporting membership retention and recruitment efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Sales and Marketing or related field preferred, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales
• Excellent sales, marketing, research, and tracking skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Flexible and accommodating with scheduling appointments for prospects and members
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English; excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with people
• Child Protection Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check, as required by PA Act 153
• An appreciation for and alignment with The Salvation Army’s mission
