Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is hiring a Member Service Specialist (Teller/Customer Service) for the Pine Island Branch in Davie, FL. You will handle deposits, loans, new accounts, and related transactions while delivering friendly, member-focused service.

We offer a full-time, on-site schedule with potential for promotion at 12 months, a competitive starting hourly wage ($17.91–$18.97) and a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and education support.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer service and/or cash handling experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalency

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrates effective sales and service skills by meeting established goals.
• Consults with members regarding SCCU products and services and recommends additional offerings to meet member needs.
• Periodically serves as floor manager to assess walk-in member’s needs and directs them to the appropriate information source.
• Performs all aspects of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and the sale of monetary instruments to provide complete member service.
• Balances cash, monetary instruments, and daily work accurately to ensure member account integrity.
• Services existing deposit and loan accounts, assists members with transactions and account maintenance to meet and exceed their expectations.
• Masters and effectively utilizes the computer terminal and online system to produce error-free work.
