MEMBER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE (PART TIME, WEEKENDS)

Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a high level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
2. Handle all front desk activities including:
   1. Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
   2. Check members into the system.
   3. Assist with new member sign-up.
   4. Guide prospective members on tours.
3. Facilitate updates to members' accounts as needed.
4. Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager when necessary.
5. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Customer service experience preferred.
2. Basic computer skills.
3. A passion for fitness and health.
4. Upbeat and positive attitude.
5. Punctuality and reliability are essential.
6. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, exceeding expectations.
7. Strong listening skills with empathy and problem-solving abilities.
8. Diplomatic in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
9. High School diploma or GED required.
10. Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

1. Standing and walking continually during shifts.
2. Talking in person or on the phone consistently during shifts.
3. Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
4. Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
