Job summary

Visions Federal Credit Union in Ithaca, NY is seeking a friendly Member Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for members in a busy on-site branch. You will perform daily banking transactions, answer questions, and build relationships through personalized service.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Title of Position: Member Service Representative

Position Overview: As a Member Service Representative (MSR), you will serve as the first point of contact for members, delivering a high-quality, service-focused experience in a fast-paced branch environment. This role is responsible for processing daily financial transactions, addressing member inquiries, and building strong relationships through personalized service.

You will support members with everyday banking needs while identifying opportunities to enhance their financial well‑being. With comprehensive training provided, this position is designed as a foundational entry point into the banking industry, offering the opportunity to develop essential skills and grow into advanced roles within the organization.

Position Type: Full-Time. Regular shifts include Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM with rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM - 12:30PM.

Compensation Range:$18.00/hr. - $ 22.00/hr.*Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills*

Location: Position is on-site at our Ithaca Branch located at 410 Elmira Rd., Ithaca, NY

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma with 1-3 years of related experience.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.
