PHEPLE FCU, located in Tarentum, PA, seeks a Part-Time Member Service Representative II to assist members with daily transactions, account openings, and loan processing at the Tarentum branch.

In this role you’ll balance cash, provide friendly customer service, and support team-driven operations while supporting members in their financial needs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of similar financial/customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers, keyboards, and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process daily deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and related items with accuracy.
• Open and close accounts, answer product/service questions, and assist with account maintenance.
• Process loan applications, make recommendations, and conduct loan closings by reviewing paperwork and securing member signatures.
• Balance cash drawer and daily transactions accurately.
• Address member questions and collaborate with supervisors on complex requests to ensure a positive member experience.

About the Role

In this versatile role, you’ll be the face of the credit union—assisting members with daily transactions, opening new accounts, and helping process loan requests from start to finish . If you enjoy providing exceptional customer service and working in a supportive, team-driven environment, this is a great opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

Member Transactions: Process daily deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and specialty items (money orders, gift cards, travel cards) with accuracy .

Account Services: Open and close accounts, answer product/service questions, and assist members with account maintenance (debit cards, checks, payroll deductions) .

Loan Assistance: Process loan applications, make recommendations, and conduct loan closings by reviewing paperwork and securing member signatures .

Balancing & Accuracy: Maintain and balance your cash drawer and daily transactions effectively .

Problem Solving: Address member questions directly and collaborate with supervisors on complex requests to ensure a positive member experience .

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 1 to 3 years of similar or related financial/customer service experience .

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent .
