CoVantage Credit Union in Menominee, MI is seeking a full‑time Member Service Representative to help members open accounts, process transactions, and guide loan applications while delivering warm, personalized service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in a financial institution, service or sales, or an Associate's Degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for daily member interactions.
• Above-average accuracy, productivity and member service.
• Punctuality, professional appearance and proper business etiquette.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Knowledge of credit union services and products.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with opening accounts, processing transactions, applying for loans and providing product information.
• Provide warm, welcoming, and personalized service to members in person or by contact.
• Refer members to appropriate colleagues for information not readily available.
• Assess members' financial needs and educate on suitable products and services.
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve organizational goals and positive work environment.
• Participate in community events to promote financial literacy and local ties.

Join our team as a Full-Time Member Service Representative at our Menominee branch. As the face of our credit union, you’ll build strong relationships with members while assisting with everything from opening accounts to applying for loans. We offer hands‑on experience, ongoing training, and opportunities for professional growth within an organization committed to supporting both its members and employees.

CoVantage invests in our team members! The pay for this role is $18.00-27.36 per hour. Your starting pay rate will be based on your related experience and qualifications. You’ll also be eligible for the equivalent of an additional $16.00 per hour in benefits. Benefits include a 401k employer match of up to 200%, a bonus of annual salary up to 4%, a generous employer HSA contribution, and paid time off for community service.

• Based on an individual earning $18.25 per hour, electing specific benefit packages, and achieving full bonus.

Job Duties

• Assists members in opening new accounts, processing transactions, applying for loans, and providing accurate information on various financial products and services
• Demonstrates efficiency and professionalism to members by providing warm, welcoming, and personalized service to every member who visits or contacts the credit union
• Provides members with information regarding credit union products and services and refers the member to the appropriate person or department if unable to provide the member with information requested
• Understands and assesses members' financial needs to educate on and offer suitable products and services that align with their goals
• Collaborates with other team members and departments to achieve organizational goals and maintain a positive and supportive work environment
• Participates in community events and outreach programs to promote financial literacy and cultivate strong ties with local residents and organizations

This individual will work a varied schedule including working multiple Saturdays per month.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 years' experience working in a financial institution or service or sales related capacity or Associate's Degree
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis
• Exhibits above average performance accuracy, productivity, and member service
• Is punctual and maintains a neat, professional appearance and demonstrates proper business telephone etiquette
• Working knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Office and Windows programs
• Detailed knowledge of the credit union and its services
• Bilingual fluency preferred, but not required

Branch Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday: 8:30 am to Noon
