Job summary

Elijahhouseliving is seeking a customer-focused associate to greet members, load orders, and manage packing preferences on the front end. You will assist with scanning, stocking, and maintaining a clean, safe checkout area.

You will handle pallet transfers, product signage, and occasional equipment operation as needed. Open availability and legal work status in the United States are required.

Qualifications

• Open availability is required to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and helps load orders onto conveyors, determines packing preferences and answers questions.
• Assists cashier by counting items left in carts and preparing items for scanning.
• Packs orders into boxes, loads onto carts, checks packaging for tampering and follows safety procedures.
• Assists with self-checkouts by scanning items and monitoring for errors.
• Maintains cleanliness of the front-end and register areas, cleans spills and trip hazards.
• Performs set up and closing duties for the department, stocks registers, and cleans area.
• Transfers pallets from receiving to storage or sales floor and assists stocking.
• Ensures correct product signage and labels unmarked products.
• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery as required.
