Job summary

TEG Federal Credit Union in Poughkeepsie, NY is hiring a Full-Time Teller. You will process member transactions accurately, guide members toward financial fitness, and provide an outstanding service experience. The role requires a reliable, outgoing team player who communicates well with members, colleagues, and leadership.

Working 40 hours/week Mon-Sat, with shorter hours on some days. Eligible for monthly incentives, benefits include health/dental/vision, 401k match, and pension.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• At least one year of cash handling experience
• Previous Teller experience preferred but not required
• Comfort with computers, basic Windows knowledge, ability to learn new software
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver accuracy: Process daily member financial transactions.
• Advocate for members: Identify needs and suggest tailored products and services.
• Maintain precision: Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions.
• Grow your career: Cross-train on advanced Member Service duties.
• Support the region: Travel to support multiple branch locations as needed.
• Stay adaptable: Take on additional collaborative tasks and projects.
