Job description

Primary Role

Be the Club "Ambassador" to welcome members, prospects, and guests to the Club and community. Candidate should possess outstanding interpersonal skills, a polished and professional image, creative communication skills, initiative, integrity, and resourcefulness. Must enjoy working with staff and club members. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to coordinate details and prioritize work daily and weekly. Must remember names and faces. Reports directly to General Manager, works with Membership and Marketing Committee.

Essential Duties
  • Develop and execute marketing tactics and strategies to enhance awareness of the Flagstaff Ranch brand and communicate the story and execution of the overall community membership marketing and sales plan, working collaboratively with onsite club management, Board and Committee, and Troon corporate team.
  • Drive content development and facilitate production of all membership‑related materials, including prospecting, sales, member communications, website, social media channels, membership sales kit, and documents associated with onboarding.
  • Create and execute digital marketing and advertising in accordance with the budgeted plan.
  • Conduct marketing activities designated in the master marketing and sales plan, such as competitor analysis, homeowner programming, community networking, Realtor relations, and presence at member events.
  • Integrate with the Membership Committee; report, track and communicate results and data. Manage the CRM system and membership prospect/sales reports, delivering weekly statistics on leads, prospect pipeline, sales forecasts, feedback from prospects who decline, and results of marketing initiatives.
  • Lead and implement a sales journey that connects potential new members to Flagstaff Ranch using current member ambassadors.
  • Oversee all membership paperwork related to sales, upgrades, downgrades, resignations, and spas:
    • Create incoming member files and ensure accurate completion of mandatory documentation in accordance with bylaws.
    • Maintain member files – record activity and paperwork.
    • Store member files in a secure location.
  • Supportive team player who actively contributes in staff meetings, member events, and improves understanding of membership goals, policy changes, procedures, satisfaction, and retention.
Qualifications/Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in private or semi‑private club sales and marketing. High‑end hospitality sales experience may be considered.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑driven self‑starter.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, efficient, detail‑oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
  • Must multitask in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
  • Must be physically able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Must conduct walking tours of the property.
  • Must analyze complex activities and improve practices or develop new approaches.
  • Proficient in CRM, CMS, and website management.
  • Knowledge of Canva and social scheduling preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
