Job summary

Quadrillion is seeking a Member of Technical Staff (Frontend) to enhance their agentic research editor, primarily using TypeScript and React. You will be instrumental in creating a highly performant Jupyter Notebook and user experiences that support complex research tasks.

Job description

As a Member of Technical Staff (Frontend) at Quadrillion Labs, you'll help maintain and improve our agentic research editor. Although research has progressed immensely in the last decades, the systems with which we do research — Jupyter Notebook, etc.— have barely changed. This is a chance to change that.

You might enjoy this role if you'd like to help build:

• The world's most performant Jupyter Notebook, with the ability to render over a million cells.
• New UIs, user flows, and experiences that make it easier for humans to conceptualize and manage hundreds to thousands of agents.
• A modern, performant desktop research editor

Required qualifications

• Our frontend code is primarily in TypeScript + React; our backend is in Python. We expect candidates to be extremely strong in modern, idiomatic TypeScript/React stack, and to have a working knowledge of Python.
• Strong full-stack / systems engineering knowledge
• Ability to move quickly in a zero-to-one environment
