Job summary

Enclosure seeks an exceptional AI Agents & Swarms engineer or researcher to own a significant portion of our AI agents and cyberswarm research as an IC. We value practical exploration and grit over formal degrees, with a focus on scalable agent architectures and tool ecosystems.

You will design and implement systems that coordinate many model calls, tools, and agents while advancing safeguards and alignment. Join frontier AI security efforts and shape research direction.

Qualifications

• Experience engineering and deploying AI agents, agentic systems, or multi-agent workflows.
• Designing systems that orchestrate large numbers of model calls, tools, or agents.
• Building platforms for tool use, API integrations, memory, retrieval, planning, or long-running agent execution.
• Designing evaluations for AI models and agentic systems.
• Building alignment, safeguards, or safety systems for AI agents.
• Demonstrating self-directed technical work (open-source, docs, tools or public projects) is a plus.

About the Role

Enclosure is hiring an exceptional AI Agents & Swarms engineer or researcher. You'll own a significant part of our AI agents & cyberswarm research as an IC. We care less about degrees and more about a track record of exploration, curiosity, and grit.

Requirements

This role requires deep experience in multiple of the following areas:

• Engineering and deploying AI agents, agentic systems, or multi-agent workflows

• Designing systems that orchestrate, coordinate, or manage large numbers of model calls, tools, or agents

• Building platforms for tool use, API integrations, MCP, memory, retrieval, planning, or long-running agent execution

• Designing evaluations for AI models and agentic systems

• Building alignment, safeguards, or safety systems for AI agents

• Designing your own custom coding agent workflows
