Job summary

Royper Royco LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced engineer to own backend services, APIs, and AI integrations for complex document workflows. You will ship production-grade features across the stack with a focus on reliability, scalability, and high-quality user experiences.

Qualifications

• Three to ten years of experience shipping and maintaining production web applications or services.
• Strong programming skills in a modern language such as Python or TypeScript, with sound software design fundamentals.
• Experience building APIs and backend services, and working with databases, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems.
• Experience with document processing workflows and integrating AI or LLM capabilities into production systems.
• Practical skills in testing, code review, debugging, performance improvement, and production reliability.
• Frontend experience and familiarity with products involving complex data or security needs are valuable.
• Clear written communication, ownership, and an interest in applying technology to legal and other specialized workflows.

Annual base salary: $180,000 to $250,000 USD, depending on skills, experience, and role scope. The role offers substantial ownership and influence over product decisions. Visa sponsorship is not available.
