Job summary

We are seeking engineers to join a healthcare AI team in San Francisco, building production systems that support complex clinical workflows. You will guide AI solutions from discovery through deployment, delivering reliable, auditable tools for clinicians and healthcare organizations.

You will design and deploy retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and data-processing systems handling clinical records.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in software engineering delivering production systems.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with prompt engineering.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
• An active GitHub profile demonstrating ongoing project work.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and communicate effectively with clinical, operational, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Scope and architect AI solutions for ambiguous clinical problems, from initial discussions through production specifications.

• Monitor deployed systems, tune performance, and implement ongoing improvements.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $120,000 to $190,000 annually.

Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, California.
