Job summary

Hawaii Medical Service Association is seeking a dedicated Member Intake Coordinator to serve as the primary contact for members, providers, and caregivers within Care Management Services. The role handles incoming and outgoing calls, guiding callers to appropriate programs and resources.

Responsibilities include information delivery, enrollment assistance, and collaboration with team members to resolve inquiries while maintaining accurate member data and ensuring timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• GED or High School required.
• One and a half years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and/or work.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet members professionally and resolve routine inquiries.
• Screen and direct calls to appropriate team members to ensure timely services.
• Provide information about care management programs and assist with enrollment or access to resources.
• Collaborate with Care Management Services team to address complex concerns.
• Maintain accurate member data in databases and ensure information is current.
