Job summary

Whitefish Credit Union is seeking a Teller in Eureka, MT to be the front-line contact for Members. You will handle withdrawals, deposits, and payments, balance cash drawers, verify identities, and advise on loan balances and rates.

The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, strong math skills, and courteous service. Prior banking experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office are a plus. Training and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months professional customer service experience preferred.
• 6–12 months professional banking or credit union experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for Members seeking withdrawals, deposits and payments.
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers and calculate daily transactions.
• Verify Member identity before providing information or performing transactions; update member information as needed.
• Talk to Members about loan balances, interest calculations and dividend rates.
• Maintain understanding of Whitefish Credit Union products, services and promotions.
• Assist Vault Teller and process cash orders to meet daily needs.
