Job summary

Langley Federal Credit Union's Town Center Branch in Virginia Beach is hiring a Full Time Financial Service Representative to serve members on-site and over the phone.

You will use consultative selling to recommend Langley products, educate members on saving, borrowing and spending wisely, and look for opportunities to deepen member engagement.

The role includes processing transactions, assisting with online banking, and mentoring colleagues while complying with laws and Credit Union policies.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or equivalent experience in sales or service.
• One year of financial institution experience is preferred.
• Experience using consultative selling to meet member needs.
• Strong knowledge of Langley products and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to members in person or by phone, offering financial products and services.
• Identify opportunities to increase member engagement.
• Educate members on Langley products and services to help them save, borrow, and spend wisely.
• Process new accounts, loans, and transactions in compliance with policies.
• Cross-train to work the teller line as needed.
• Record member interactions in the CRM system.
