Job summary
MSU Federal Credit Union, Downtown Lansing Branch, is seeking a Financial Services Specialist to deliver exceptional member experiences and personalized financial guidance on-site. You will assess each member's financial position, recommend tailored solutions, and cross-sell products to enhance long-term wellbeing.
The role requires a 40-hour week with specific branch hours and rotating Saturdays, onsite only.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to work Saturdays and branch hours.
Responsibilities
- Actively listen to uncover members' financial needs and analyze their financial profile to recommend tailored solutions and cross-sell related products.
- Identify and sell products and services and provide personalized financial education to enhance member experience.
- Ensure accurate processing of member transactions and maintain operational integrity within Credit Union procedures.
- Review member transactions and account activity for red flags and escalate to Fraud Department when needed.
- Process business account transactions with risk-mitigation while reviewing each member's financial position to make referrals to business partners.
