SDCCU is seeking a Financial Service Representative I in Solana Beach, CA. The role focuses on building relationships with members and delivering accurate, high-quality service while promoting credit union products.

You will use relationship management skills to assess member financial needs, refer appropriate products, and record all interactions and referrals. The position emphasizes compliance with AML/BSA/OFAC and other policies and may involve community outreach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of financial service experience; or 2 years of finance-related experience; or 6 months of SDCCU member facing work experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of relationship management skills; demonstrated ability to identify and offer/refer products and services to meet members’ financial needs.
• Strong listening, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve assigned goals and performance expectations.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional member experience by maintaining a positive and professional attitude while caring for members and resolving routine questions.
• Use relationship management skills to understand members’ financial needs and provide valuable financial solutions.
• Identify and offer products and services to members and/or refer to an appropriate representative or partner.
• Accurately record and track all member interactions, referrals and sales, following policy and procedures.
• Stay updated on current policies, procedures and new products or services.
• Prepare documentation for new accounts and loans, ensuring adherence to requirements.
• Ensure loan files are complete and accurate.
• Follow up with members on loan applications and processes.
• Maintain consistent follow-ups with new and existing members.
• Collaborate with staff to achieve branch goals.
• Participate in campaigns, outreach efforts, and community events.
• Adhere to AML, BSA, OFAC, CTR, and MISP requirements.
