The position involves reviewing credit reports, applying lending guidelines, and staying current with consumer lending regulations while supporting team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Review and analyze consumer loan applications for approval or denial.
• Evaluate credit reports, credit scores, income documentation, collateral, debt-to-income ratios, and other financial information.
• Assess lending risk and determine members' ability to repay loans.
• Make lending decisions within authority limits and refer exceptions as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze consumer loan applications for approval or denial.
• Evaluate credit reports, credit scores, income documentation, collateral, debt-to-income ratios, and other financial information.
• Assess lending risk and determine members' ability to repay loans.
• Make lending decisions within established authority limits and refer exceptions as appropriate.
• Ensure all lending decisions comply with credit union policies and federal and state regulations.
• Process payment deferrals, due date changes, and collateral releases within policy guidelines.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for loan, deposit, and financial products.
• Stay informed regarding lending trends and regulatory changes.
• Assist members and staff with loan-related questions and lending solutions.
