Job summary

3Rivers Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Sales Specialist to follow up on referrals and persuade members to choose 3Rivers as their financial partner. You will provide guidance on budgeting, consolidations, and various payment methods while handling transactions and loan applications with accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Excellent communications skills (oral and written).
• Ability to gather and analyze data.
• Experience with cash handling and clerical office work.

• Proficient with office equipment (computer, phone, adding machine, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of loans, types and purposes.
• Adheres to all federal, state and credit union regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on referrals and use persistence to make 3Rivers their institution of choice.
• Provide advice on budget counseling, consolidations, pay methods and other financial needs.
• Perform transactions and loan applications accurately and in accordance with current procedures.
• Examine signatures and endorsements against valid identification.
• Comply with Credit Union policies and applicable regulations.
• Open and close accounts and manage the lending process; upsell products.
