Oregon State Credit Union in Philomath, OR seeks a Financial Services Consultant to help members build financial foundations through accounts, lending guidance, and personalized solutions with a strong focus on service and integrity. You will open memberships, advise on consumer lending, conduct basic transactions, and ensure follow-through on inquiries.

Qualifications

At least one year of relevant customer service experience required with prior consulting and sales experience highly preferred
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Positive attitude and proven ability to drive sales through excellent service
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively required
Demonstrates strong aptitude to problem solve independently and resolve challenges using available resources
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time successfully
Prior cash handling experience and general computer skills highly preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

Open new membership accounts and advise on consumer lending needs
Consult with members on products and services relevant to their situation
Research inquiries and ensure follow-through to resolution
Handle basic transactions such as deposits and withdrawals
Develop relationship-based service to understand members' needs and provide tailored financial solutions
