Job summary

Pelican Credit Union in Monroe, LA is seeking a courteous Member Experience Representative to greet members and assist with financial needs across in-person, phone, text, and digital channels.

In this frontline role, you will perform routine transactions, open/close accounts, balance drawers, support ITM operations, and promote Pelican products to meet member needs while achieving monthly sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of continuous job experience.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience within a financial institution is a plus.
• Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and member service skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PPT.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member experience concierge for members entering the branch and coordinating lobby flow.
• Perform routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
• Assist members in the opening and closing of accounts.
• Balance the teller drawer at the end of the day.
• Support ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) operations and serve as a knowledgeable resource.
• Promote and cross-sell Pelican products and services to members to fit their financial needs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
