Job summary

Buffalo Grove Park District is seeking a part-time Guest Services Representative for the Fitness Center. You are the first point of contact for members and guests, delivering friendly, accurate information and handling registrations, billing, and inquiries.

The role includes evening and weekend shifts (4:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m.) and requires strong communication, organizational skills, and professionalism to support daily operations and ensure a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn membership management and POS software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in members and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide information on memberships, programs, services, and policies.
• Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate staff.
• Assist with account questions, billing, and registrations.
• Process sales for memberships and classes.
• Complete end-of-day closing procedures and cash reconciliation.
