Job summary

MVP Sports Clubs is seeking an Assistant Manager to maintain a consistent member service philosophy across the Athletic Club, ensuring quality service, daily operations, and facility standards. You will focus on current and prospective members, coordinating tours and member requests, and reporting to the Member Services Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service industry.
• First Aid/CPR Training; if missing, MVP in-house training will be provided.
• Aquatics Skills Preparedness Course to provide lifeguard coverage.
• Modified MVP Basic Water Rescue Training after hiring.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work club opening/closing shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Building Operations: Ensure all Athletic Club entities operate per member/guest expectations.
• Cross-train in all facility areas; assist any department; provide fitness floor coverage as needed.
• Enforce club rules and report issues to the appropriate Manager/Director.
• Inventory cash totals daily.
• Respond to emergencies; use incident reports.
• Assist Aquatics department lifeguards and be backup responder as needed.
• Assist in training new hires within the Members Services Department.
