Job summary

You will handle provider inquiries by phone, document interactions, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues while ensuring regulatory compliance, including HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
• Type over 55 wpm.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree preferred.
• Prior healthcare experience or related insurance field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to providers via telephone.
• Document the nature of the correspondence and resolution in call logs with detailed information.
• Research provider inquiries that were unable to be immediately resolved and provide timely follow-up communication.
• Escalate and transfer inquiries, as needed.
• Work with Member Experience team members, other internal business partners, and vendors to investigate and resolve questions and concerns raised by providers.
• Collaborate with the Member Experience Manager to develop personal goals and track progress to completion.

Member Experience Representatives provide compassionate, accurate, and efficient service to our employer groups, members, and providers while ensuring that regulatory compliance obligations are met.

• Upcoming Training Schedule for the first 4 weeks will include the following dates and times, trainings will be held at our corporate headquarters located at 7201 West 78th Street Bloomington, MN 55439. At this time, we are seeking candidates in the Twin Cities metro.
• Dates: September 14 - October 9 (4 weeks)
• Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite and Adobe.
• Ability to type over 55 wpm
• High school diploma and/or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior healthcare experience or related insurance field preferred

Additional Opportunity Details:

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $19.00-$20.00/hr*
