Responsibilities

• Receive and process basic and advanced customer financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and maintaining member records; balance cash drawer and daily transactions, ITM and vault replenishments.
• Identify and develop cross-sell opportunities with members and nonmembers; be knowledgeable about loans, deposits, and other credit union services.
• Welcome members and provide routine information, directing to the appropriate department for specifics.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks such as typing, scanning, and answering the telephone.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Role

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Receives and processes basic and advanced customer financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers from member accounts as directed, research inquiries, and maintaining member records. Balancing of cash drawer and daily transactions as well as ITM and vault replenishments and balancing.
• Identifies and develops cross sell opportunities with members and nonmembers of the credit union. Knowledgeable in all member service products to include loans, deposits, transaction accounts and other credit union services.
• Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs member to appropriate department for specific information and service.
• Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, scanning computer input and answering the telephone.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements

• Balance your cash drawer daily and accurately post transactions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
• Proactively seek opportunities to identify appropriate products and services for the betterment of the member.
• Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and coworkers and businesslike appearance.
• Provide informed, prompt, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates by responding to email, answering telephone within 3 rings and replying to messages within 2 hours.
• Develop, maintain and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union loan standards, policies, procedures and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations.

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

Other Skills: Must have good communication skills. Ten key calculator and computer keyboard by touch. Must be good with detail to deal with numbers and names.
