Job summary

Geneva Golf & Country Club in Muscatine, IA, seeks a proactive Member Experience Manager to enhance member engagement and coordinate events. You will collaborate across departments to deliver memorable experiences for members and families, manage onboarding, communications, and club culture initiatives, and support membership growth.

This full-time role requires hospitality mindset and strong organizational skills, with standard hours 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and flexibility for events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, communications, marketing, business, event management, or related field preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, membership services, event planning, marketing, or communications preferred.
• Experience in private clubs, hospitality, recreation, or service-oriented environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute member engagement initiatives to enhance the club experience and support membership growth.
• Create and execute social, golf-related, external, business and private member events.
• Serve as a welcoming presence and build relationships with members and guests while delivering exceptional service.
• Lead member onboarding, including applications, welcome materials, orientation, and integration into activities.
• Manage member communications via email, newsletters, portal, social media, and club publications.
• Promote events and initiatives to encourage participation and engagement.
• Coordinate social media content and club messaging to raise awareness and participation.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless event execution and member experiences.
• Support private events and assist with Banquet Event Orders to ensure accurate execution.
• Manage event registrations and track participation.
