Unitus Community Credit Union’s Bridgeport Village branch in Tigard, OR is seeking a Member Advocate. You will guide members through opening accounts, applying for loans, and learning about other financial products, while ensuring precise, secure transactions.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in customer service, strong communication skills, and a willingness to cross-sell. Wages are competitive with benefits and growth opportunities within a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year in a fast-paced customer service role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to use technology.
• Notary Public and NMLS certification eligibility in Oregon/Washington is preferred.
• Cash handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in opening new accounts and applying for loans.
• Perform monetary and non-monetary transactions with accuracy and fraud awareness.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products and internal systems.
• Collaborate with staff to research and resolve member questions or concerns.
• Aim to exceed established sales and service goals.
