Job summary

Together Credit Union in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking a Personal Service Counselor (Universal Banker) to deliver a personal service experience built on advocacy, financial guidance, and member relationships that empower members to achieve their best life.

You will engage with members to identify financial needs, refer suitable products, perform transactions, maintain a balanced cash drawer, and collaborate with branch teammates to grow the business while complying with policies and privacy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related professional experience.
• Federal NMLS registration and Notary Public certifications (may be obtained after hire).

Responsibilities

• Engages with members to build relationships, identify financial needs and opportunities, and refer appropriate products and services.
• Performs financial transactions and initiates and completes savings and lending steps with accuracy.
• Maintains daily cash drawer balance.
• Works universally and collaboratively to achieve branch objectives.
• Follows up on membership appointments and loan leads; promotes the Credit Union.
• Resolves member inquiries and ensures knowledge of products, policies, and promotions.
• Protects member privacy and complies with safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
