Job summary

Industrious in Palo Alto is seeking a hands-on Member Experience Associate to enhance the on-site guest journey. You will prepare the office daily, stock amenities, manage inventory, and help members with IT issues, while contributing to events and signage that showcase our flexible workplace solutions.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a friendly, proactive team player who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in exceptional service and smooth operations at our location.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks requiring lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Must stand, bend, kneel, reach and walk for extended periods.
• Capable of operating machines/appliances including printers, dishwashers, blenders, snack carts, knives, kitchen utensils, etc.
• Participate in food preparation and cleaning duties with health and safety compliance.
• Maintain sanitary work areas and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• You’re proactive and take ownership over managing inventory and ordering your location’s supplies.
• You build magnificent events and design signage for a memorable office experience.
• You add new members into multiple systems so their first day is seamless.
• You assist members with IT or wifi issues as needed.
• You dip your toe in local marketing events to showcase the value of our flexible solutions.
• You give a quick walk-through while the Member Experience Manager assists other members.

About the Role

This is an in‑person hospitality role, based on site 5 days a week. Candidates must live within an easy commute of Palo Alto, CA. To help, our compensation package includes some great commuter benefits!

As a Member Experience Associate at Industrious, you will be the heart of the member experience, truly aiming to create great days for all who enter your office. While your day may not look the same, here's what it could look like:

• You take a walk in‑tour while your Member Experience Manager is assisting another potential member.

Requirements

• Perform repetitive tasks requiring frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and walk for extended periods throughout the day.
• Capable of operating machines / appliances as necessary, including printers, dishwashers, blenders, snack carts, knives, kitchen utensils, etc.
• Participate in food preparation and cleaning duties, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of cleaning chemicals, and equipment.
• Ensure work areas are kept in a sanitary condition and all safety protocols are followed.

The hourly compensation for this position starts at $25.25. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job related knowledge, skills and professional qualifications.

• Commuter stipend of $150 / quarter.
• Travel stipend $150 / annually (after 90 days).
