The Membership Data Specialist is an entry-level, detail-focused position responsible for maintaining accurate membership, chapter, advisor, alumni, honorary, affiliate, inactive, prospective, and reestablishing chapter records in AED's CRM. The role combines data entry, historical record verification, customer-service outreach, and ongoing database quality work.

What You'll Do

• Cross-reference and verify AED records, prioritizing 2025 backward through 2022 before continuing through historical records dating to 1926.
• Manually enter, update, reconcile, and maintain accurate CRM records across all membership and chapter categories.
• Call and email members, alumni, advisors, chapters, and institutions to confirm information, reconnect contacts, support reactivation, and identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain organized documentation, data-quality standards, duplicate control, and accurate reporting for the National Office.
• Serve as Primary Staff Liaison to the Membership & Growth Advisory Panel.
• Support approved conferences, Convention registration, and other Convention needs as assigned.

Compensation, Schedule & Reporting

Employment start:September 15, 2026

Remote probation:9/15/26-12/13/2026

Hybrid begins:January 1, 2027

Onsite requirement:Minimum 44 hours/month

Base salary:$44,000 annually

Payroll:Monthly, paid on the 1st of the following month

Annual review:Eligible after one full year; salary increase consideration is not guaranteed.

Primary supervisor:Operations & Programs Manager (OPM)

Strategic direction:Executive Director/CEO sets standards, goals, priorities, and long-term needs; OPM oversees implementation.

Approved conferences:Reports to Programs & Events Coordinator for travel logistics, tabling, exhibitor support, and onsite needs.

National Convention:Registration is the top priority under OPM; after registration needs are covered, assists the Programs & Events Coordinator with other Convention support.

Travel:Approved travel expenses and applicable travel-related compensation follow AED Employee Handbook and travel policies provided upon hire.

Convention supplement:$500/month during active employment from 7/1/27 thru 7/1/2028
