Job summary

BECU seeks a Member Consultant II to deliver a seamless member experience, diagnosing consumer financial needs and referring to specialized services when needed. You’ll work across pods and branches, applying product knowledge to resolve inquiries with care and accuracy.

Training may involve travel to Tukwila Financial Center. Location-based role in Auburn area; rotation across Auburn, Covington, and Maple Valley branches is required for up to the first year, with a one-year commitment and

• Experience in retail banking or member services preferred.
• Willingness to rotate across pods and branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Resolve member inquiries and financial needs with accuracy and empathy.
• Refer members to specialized services when appropriate.
• Provide clear information on products, benefits, and qualifications.
• Support pod branches Auburn, Covington, Maple Valley and travel for training as required.

PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $26.00 - $32.12 hourly.

IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:

As a Member Consultant II, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless and high-quality member experience. Your expertise in BECU's products will allow you to identify, diagnose, and address members' consumer financial needs and refer them to specialized services when necessary. You will serve as a subject matter expert, resolving our members' needs and providing expertise in specialized financial services.

• Member Consultant: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Offers are often made within this range, taking into account experience, skills, and alignment with internal team compensation. Please note that starting pay typically does not exceed the range midpoint.

About This Role & Pod Expectations

This role is part of a pod (a group of nearby branches) within BECU's Mountain District. Additional details provided if moved forward in the hiring process.

• Pod Branches: Auburn, Covington, Maple Valley
  • Location support based on business needs
• Rotation Required: You'll work across all POD branches for up to your first year or more - this is a core expectation of the role
• One-Year Commitment: All Retail new hires are expected to remain in this role, POD, and schedule for a minimum of one year before pursuing other opportunities within BECU
• Training: Training will include travel to the Tukwila Financial Center
