Job summary

JumpstartMD is seeking a Part-time Member Care Coordinator in San Francisco at Embarcadero Center to welcome members, manage appointments, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

You will handle calls, emails, scheduling, billing, and inventory, collaborate with clinicians, and support new hires through training and curriculum shadowing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; higher degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in a customer-facing role, ideally in a medical/clinical setting.
• Proficient with MS Office 365, EHR/EMR, scheduling and billing systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical environment with high accuracy.
• Strong ownership, accountability and initiative.
• Team-player with collaborative approach in an intimate clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Be the welcoming frontline presence for members and visitors, ensuring a positive experience from the start.
• Handle calls, messages, and emails with timely responses.
• Guide new members through onboarding, forms, program details and payments.
• Process orders, billing, and maintain inventory.
• Manage mail, packages, and support training of new hires.

Your Next Adventure: Member Care Coordinator

Reports to: Clinician Manager
Classification: Part-time, non-exempt
Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday, 6:50am - 2:00pm, some later hours required for internal meetings and inventory.
Location: San Francisco (Embarcadero Center), CA

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Vibrant Frontline Presence:Be the welcoming force for members and visitors, ensuring a positive experience from the start. Manage interactions, check-ins, and appointments with enthusiasm, creating a memorable member journey.
• Swift Communication Mastery:Respond promptly to a bustling stream of calls, messages, and emails, setting high standards for timely communication.
• Member Success Advocacy:Guide new members through a seamless onboarding process, infusing excitement into agreement forms, program details, and payment discussions. Foster lasting relationships with members, actively promoting their ongoing success.
• Administrative Dynamo:Navigate order processing, billing wizardry, and maintain an inventory that’s always ready for action.
• Logistical Marvel:Command the mail and packages domain, ensuring smooth deliveries and handling, including outgoing shipments. Be a guiding light in new hire setup and training, injecting energy into curriculum review and hands-on shadowing.
• Innovative Collaboration:Collaborate with the team, sparking ideas to elevate the member experience. Dive into exciting projects and assignments, showcasing adaptability and a flair for innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma required. Bachelor’s or Associates degree in related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a medical or clinical office setting.
• Proficient in MS Office 365, EHR/EMR systems, and scheduling and billing systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills. Ability to efficiently perform job duties in a fast-paced work environment with zero to few errors.
