Job summary

WEOKIE Federal Credit Union in Piedmont, OK seeks a Member Advocate I (Teller) to deliver outstanding service while accurately processing cash and inquiry transactions. You will proactively suggest products and services to help members manage their financial needs and explain the Credit Union’s mission.

Responsibilities include handling deposits and withdrawals, balancing cash drawers, and answering member questions with a focus on referrals and risk-conscious procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Encouraged to earn or hold CCUFC designation.
• Must be able to learn and apply various software applications.
• Must have accurate keyboarding skills.
• Prior retail service experience with cash handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service by engaging with members and applying service standards.
• Accurately process transactions including cashing checks, deposits and withdrawals.
• Listen actively to address questions and offer appropriate product referrals.
• Balance cash drawer and complete end-of-day procedures.
• Follow policies, procedures, and risk controls; report gaps to leadership.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as answering phones and restocking.
