Job summary

CACI is seeking a skilled MEM/Intune Engineer to support the DoD Enterprise IT as a Service program. You will join a team responsible for engineering and implementing an enterprise Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solution capable of managing Windows and BYO devices.

Create rollout strategies, configure Azure components, and leverage PowerShell to automate maintenance while ensuring DoD security standards and STIG compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in MEM/Intune engineering
• Active Secret Clearance and US Citizenship
• Experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting MS and third-party updates
• Experience deploying applications via Intune
• Experience managing a large endpoint infrastructure

The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a skilled Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) Engineer, specializing in Intune to support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. The candidate will join a team of engineers responsible for engineering and implementing an enterprise Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Solution. The UEM solution shall be capable of managing all Windows and Bring Your Own Approved Device (BYOAD) endpoints.

On the EITaaS program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DAF to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an experienced MEM/Intune engineer assisting with the design and implementation of the Intune solution for the DAF.
• Experience migrating many thousands of systems between versions of Intune configurations.
• Experience comparing and differentiating large Intune configuration profiles.
• Identity and Enrollment Mechanics - experience troubleshooting various issues with Intune enrollment.
• Defender and KQL reporting
• MacOS with Intune, configuration, security, application patching and deployment.
• Designing rollout strategies for large enterprise environments
• Cert Connector deployment, configuration, maintenance, & monitoring.
• Configuring Surface Hub as Teams Meeting Room Devices
• Design and configure Azure components in accordance with DoD security requirements, including applicable STIGs, the DoD Cloud Computing SRG, and DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) functional requirements
• Perform vulnerability remediation, patching and software/firmware upgrades in accordance with DoD requirements
• Lead diagnosing and troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex technical issues
• Provide SME input into technical documentation such as the System Design Document (SDD), Configuration Management Plan, Contingency Plan, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and other ATO documentation
• Leverage PowerShell and Azure Automation to automate routine activities, such as configuration management, and system maintenance
• Perform root cause analysis for production deployment errors and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with internal teams and DAF stakeholders to drive the development of new cloud engineering approaches and opportunities

Qualifications:

Required:

• CompTIA Security+ or other DoD Approved 8570 Baseline certification at IAT Level II or higher
• 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
• US Citizenship
• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting the installation of Microsoft and third-party software updates
• Experience deploying applications/updates via Intune
• Experience managing a large endpoint infrastructure
• Experience managing Windows Servers and Workstations (mobile devices a plus)
• Experience working in a DoD environment
• Familiarity with STIG requirements
• Experience managing MacOS with Intune
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work well under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients

Desired:

• Experience with Integrating Intune and ServiceNow Automation
• Acts independently to expose and resolve problems
• Certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
